Since establishing Byford Accountants in 1993, Darren has developed a reputation for his dynamic and innovative tax planning and strategies. With a remarkable grasp of the most up-to-date legislative changes and an instinctive understanding of clients’ needs, Darren is available to develop strategies to assist in your business growth. Darren has been recognised as a “Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants” for over 30 years of service.
His biggest passion is family succession planning and he currently works with large businesses to help them transition their family business to the next generation.
Although holding an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and a Diploma in Business, Natasha’s greatest asset is having over 20 years’ experience in the accounting and taxation field. She has an eye for detail and is focused on providing you with the high-quality service that you deserve. She can not only help keep you up to date with your taxation lodgements but is also here to guide you through the world of GST, STP, business structures, tax planning and tax/capital gains concessions. Natasha is a great team member to have on board.
Claudio has been in the accounting and tax Industry for over 30 years, and has been recognised as a “Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants” by the Institute of Public Accountants for his service. Claudio is one of our lead accountants and has extensive experience in complex business transactions, succession planning, business structuring, companies, trusts, self-managed super funds and all matters related to taxation.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Accounting) from Curtin University. Kim has worked in taxation for over 25 years and has been recognised as a “Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants”. She has been part of our team for more than 10 years and her attention to detail is incredible. She takes great pride in getting things right, and has the experience to make wise decisions also.
Ellen has a Bachelor of Commerce in Science and Accounting and completed her Masters of Professional Accounting at Edith Cowan University. With over 10 years’ experience in taxation, Ellen is a wonderful asset to the team with her hard work and friendly personality. Nothing is ever too hard for her, and she is always willing to go the extra mile to assist.
Megan is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Accounting and Financial Planning) from Curtin University. Megan has over 10 years’ experience in accounting and taxation. She specialises in individual tax returns, rental properties, deceased estates, small businesses and business activity statements. Feel free to give her a call at any time if you have a question.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Accounting and Taxation) from Curtin University and is also a CPA member.
Ashley has been working in tax for 10 years and enjoys dealing with property tax matters such as subdivisions and development projects. He also enjoys helping his businesses save money in tax and aiding a smooth transition to the next generation. He has helped businesses sell shares to key employees and help them scale their business for growth.
Albert completed a Bachelor of Commerce and is an amazing team player. He has a broad knowledge of taxation and is here to help you with anything from individual tax returns through to assisting you with your business returns in the form of sole traders, trusts or companies. He is always happy to assist with your queries so feel free to give him a call or make an appointment with him at your convenience.
Albert has a passion for helping his business clients save by having an efficient tax structure in place which keeps their taxes down and provides asset protection to their families.
Jetarah graduated from Curtin University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (double major in Accounting and Business Law). Jetarah is the Xero expert in the office – if you have any questions on Xero or would like to start a new Xero file for your business, she is the one to talk to. Having her skills and expertise in house is an incredibly valuable asset to the team.
Gillian has completed a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and assists the accountants with the preparation of Business Activity Statements, Income Tax Returns and financial statements for individuals and small businesses. Gillian has experience in bookkeeping with knowledge across MYOB, Cashflow Manager, Quickbooks & Xero, and can help with the bookkeeping requirements for your business. Her knowledge of these programs is a great asset to the team.
Larissa is here to greet you with a smile at the front desk when you visit. She can book appointments, and when you call will direct you to the person who is most qualified to help you. Larissa also assists in preparing documents for your bank when requested, along with liaising with the tax office on your behalf.
Larissa is currently studying a bookkeeping & accounting course at TAFE to grow her skills.
Suzanne is here to greet you with a smile at the front desk when you visit. She can book appointments, and when you call, she will direct you to the person who is most qualified to help. Suzanne also assists in preparing documents for your bank when requested, along with liaising with the tax office on your behalf.
Melanie is available to assist with booking appointments, answering your phone calls and sending through any documentation you might need. Melanie is also here to help you with the setup of new companies and trusts, submitting applications for TFN’s, ABN’s and business names. As our ASIC liaison, Melanie provides valuable support to keep your Company up to date and compliant.
